Tradition obliges: a family history dedicated to hosting

The last time the Hotel Elephant was sold was in 1773. It has been family-owned ever since – and the hosts are still present in the hotel every day, just as they were generations ago. Part of the hotel’s particular charm is due to this family-run service for guests and the sense of tradition that still characterises the hotel in Bressanone to this day. The owners are descendants of the famous South Tyrolean hospitality pioneer, Emma Hellenstainer, and have always been committed to the highest standards of hospitality — individual, independent and friendly.
